BULGING, DEGENERATED, HERNIATED DISCS
Herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica and other similar types of pain can be debilitating. Something as simple as sitting down and standing up can be difficult.
Some doctors may have prescribed treatment of these conditions in the form of Pain Management (pills or shots), extensive Physical Therapy, or even surgery, with little or no long term results.
Here are some facts about epidurals and surgery:
Back surgeries are not often successful in relieving pain according to many statistics.
Most surgeries take place again within 1–5 years.
Epidurals, pain medication, or anti inflammatory can offer relief in some cases, but over time the results of these treatments may decrease due to the way the brain habituates to stimulus, and surgery may be recommended.
Here’s how we take a different approach ...
Neurologically:
Spinal Decompression Therapy - This has proven effective in treating degenerative discs, facet syndrome, sciatica, herniated discs and spinal stenosis. If you have already had surgery, spinal decompression therapy can still be considered if you suffer from failed back surgery syndrome. This will relieve the disc and take pressure off the nerves.
Upper Cervical Brain Stem Chiropractic - Along with Spinal Decompression Therapy, we do a thorough examination, proper testing and evaluation to pinpoint whether or not there are other factors contributing to your disc problems. This will balance muscle tone removing compression to the disc.
Metabolically:
We take a look at other things that may be contributing to your conditions, such as:
Weight
Body Type
Inflammations
Stress Levels
Your visit will consist of a thorough exam which includes the following:

Review of MRI’s & Diagnostic Images
